Amana Bank expands to Kalpitiya

Amana Bank recently opened its newest Self Banking Centre (SBC) in Kalpitiya, marking another milestone in the Bank’s commitment to providing accessible and convenient banking services across Sri Lanka. Located at the No. 202/B, Main Street, Kalpitiya, this SBC marks the opening of Amana Bank’s 67th customer location, which includes 34 SBCs and 33 fully fledged branches.

The Kalpitiya SBC was opened under the patronage of the Bank’s Chief Operating Officer Imtiaz Iqbal, Assistant Vice President - Deposit Mobilization and Digital Innovation Arshad Jamaldeen, Assistant Vice President – SME Banking Arshad Adhnan, Head of Business (Western Region) – Nishath Nawaz, Director of Divisional Education Office - A.M Ajwad, local business representatives, local government authorities and residents.

The Kalpitiya SBC will offer round-the-clock access for cash withdrawal, cash deposit, and cheque deposits.

Commenting on the expansion, Chief Operating Officer Imtiaz Iqbal stated, “We are delighted to extend our network to Kalpitiya through the establishment of a Self-Banking Centre. Our presence in Kalpitiya is a part of our commitment to expand our people friendly banking model to the rural regions of the country. This SBC is particularly beneficial for individuals involved in the fishery and various industries in Kalpitiya Region, making banking services more accessible to communities, ensuring ease and convenience in their financial transactions.”
